Back in Armor
Actually, I got in armor and mixed it up with one of my squires last weekend.
Damn, but it felt good. Despite being way out of shape. And fighting sword and shield (not my favorite or most expert style).
What prompted this note was my work today on replacing four lames on my haramaki, one primary plate on the body, two kusazuri plates, and one on the left sode.
(Okay, to be a purist, this picture is actually hara-ate, but you can get the idea.)
Honrable son is padding his, and we start his training in earnest tomorrow. He has the week off from school, he will be schooled in a different manner. ;)
