The journal recorded that I updated last 24 weeks ago. "2008-01-27 18:49:52, 24 weeks ago"
'Them was different days.'
Let's see, what I was doing 24 weeks ago? Amusingly enough, some of the same things I am doing now:
(1) Desperately trying to figure out what to do about the "Love Triangle" (as one of my friends calls it) that I found myself in.
January answer: Plan a month long, multi-city vacation. (most of March: San Francisco, Philly)
July Answer: Plan a two-three week, multi-city vacation. (late July through mid-August: DC, New York, Philly, New Jersey, and North Carolina) *and* be more open about my feelings/ think about the future of this thing
(2) Wondering about the political future of the country as well as plan my own presidential run
January Answer: Pray that Sen. Clinton wins; argue with the roomies
July Answer: Wonder what happened; lament with the roomies
(3) Think about the gym routine that stopped after Halloween 2007 (due to factors related to reason 1)
January answer: lament the lack of gym time and study for comps
July answer: actually going back to the gym **yay progress!**
(4) Try and get motivated to write a paper that was due in December
January answer: apply for conference and study for comps
July answer: working up motivation for two papers and read for dissertation
(5) Wonder why some friends I stayed in contact with whereas I didn't with others
January answer: wish for a personal assistant to help me keep my social life organized/ hang out with Chicago friends
July answer: actually begin calling people again
(6) Work on the game I'm writing
January answer: Wonder why I liked Matty G's adaptation of the game world
July answer: Create a spin-off world with 4 gods and 6 races on the d8 system
(7) Wondered whether I needed more or new friends
January answer: Purge!
July answer: Vacation and more exercising at the gym and using the digital camera a very close friend gave me (woot!)
Gosh, the more things change the more they stay the same. I would resolve to update more, but, you know, I still have that whole life thing!
Shower time...
