Meet Sebadoh.
That's Eric Gaffney.
That's Lou Barlow.
And that is Jason Lowenstien.
That was fucking awesome. I love when good ol' rock shows blow me away. Here's why this show rocked in a sock-removing way:
1. The good ol' instrument switching thing. Not only do they know how to play their own instruments, but they also know how to play everyone else's instruments really well. They all sang and it was fucking awesome.
2. They rocked out to their good old songs. It's like they know they're simple and good and they just believe in it without being afraid whether people will like it.
3. They have fun and they seem like they really like hanging out with each other.
I guess I can't completely describe why this show was better than others (even Sloan), but I did not want to check my watch at all, and i usually do at any show. They were entertaining without any antics cuz they're just fun guys and not afraid to go in whichever direction their little hearts desire. I just wanted to hug them.
Thanks for getting back together, guys.
