Adem.
So I feel like people have such a delicate and beautiful air about them sometimes that they're almost holy. Adem is one of those people. It's so obvious how he loves music and people and their souls. The only reason I know about him and his band is because of explosions in the sky. When I saw them perform, Adem opened and blew me away. All this beautiful singing and toys and I was taken into the idea of organic synthesis. Just putting all these new things together.
He played a beautiful set, and I love that for the other openers and Explosions, him and his band sat on the side of the stage and clapped loudly. Another music fan that loves to hear other people. Maybe he watches his music land.
He uses all these random instruments that just feel like you woke up after falling asleep on the beach with the closest of freinds, sharing the most inner parts of yourself that you've been hiding your whole life. Call it toy-folk or nu-folk, Adem's important.
I actually agreed to go to the Amiina show because Adem was originally opening. Kinda sad about him not, but I can't wait to see his beautiful soul when he sings to me again.
