oh wow. i have become a total grandma (no, not even that cool) soccer-mom NERD. friday i got paid, so i decided to go grocery shopping. i figured walmart has cheap groceries (i know, don't bitch to me about how it's an evil corporation and i shouldn't shop there, i'm just doing what i can to get by, jeez). i drive to the closest walmart supercenter (fairly far from my house). i get there and realize "wait! aldi's generally has cheaper prices! but not ALWAYS. i should comparison shop." so i pulled out a notebook to just take down a couple prices so i could compare shop...
an hour, and 6 pages (it's a small notebook!) later, i left walmart with NO PURCHASES. just a huge list of how much everything i might ever purchase is. oh, and how much it costs per ounce as well.
pretty freaking pathetic, right?
today, west and i went to aldi's. i did the SAME thing again. he spent $60 on groceries. i spent $7. i am so lucky he already loves me. so now i still have no groceries. b/c i haven't gone to the other grocery stores... i'm so embarrassed... and hungry.
