His cheek against mine

He broke up with me AGAIN Thursday night/Friday morning. He had spent the day at my house Thursday and his wallet had fallen, open, on the floor. I picked it up, took a quick (habitual) glance inside and saw that he had 15 bucks in there. That evening at work he was going to buy lunch. He opened his wallet to check how much money he had in it and I told him he had 15 bucks. He flipped out and walked away from me. Later, he came to me out on the floor and told me that I was crazy, I had crossed the line and to stay the fuck away from him and his son. I tried to blow it off and asked him what he wanted me to pick up from McDonalds. He wasn't having it. He walked away and didn't speak to me the rest of the evening. He was off the next two days, but I worked. He didn't call me either day or answer his phone when I called.

I talked with David (another David, a "homie" of mine at work). We talk to each other about our relationships all the time. I told him bDavid wouldn't talk to me the rest of the night, he wouldn't call me Friday or Saturday, then he would wait most of the He told me he would sock me in the chin if I got back together with him. I walked into work today, stuck out my chin at him, and told him to take his best shot because I deserve it. He just shook his head at me disappointedly.

bDavid waited half the night before he came over to the strapper to talk to me. The initial conversation was that we were broken up and he had my stuff bagged up for me at his house and he wanted to know when I wanted it. I played it off and told him to bring it to work the next day. He ended the conversation and walked away. He came back by the strapper a little while later and said "see what I mean about my credibility being shot? You have me wrapped around your finger and you know I'll always come crawling back".

He walked away again and I told him as he left, "no, I'm thouroughly convinced that every time you break up with me is the last time." I don't actually mean that, but I don't want him proving a point to me.

He came back again later and he leaned in like he was going to talk to me. He put his cheek against mine. I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I knew he had finally gotten over his stupidity and decided it wasn't worth the pain. Everything was ok again.
