My personal opinion of sex in public places is that it's yucky, but yet I do it. I guess my whole thought process is: everyone else is doing it because they are horny and can't control their hormones, but it has nothing to do with love. My case, of course, is totally different. I'm in love and I am just expressing the intense need for my other half.
My opinion also differs if, let's say, it's a romantic picnic on the beach in the evening or a moonlit hike or something romantic. But getting busy in the car on a Saturday nite or taking it into the alley outside a club is icky.
I have no problem with PDA. I occasionally get grossed out if two ppl are really going at it, but I think it's fine.
