The Sun, The Wind... The Ma0wMa0w.
Sunday (the 22nd) was my Mom's b-day. I'm not sure how old she is but I know she's older than me. Anyway, I was fretting over what to get her and how to keep my spending to a minimum.
So, I went to my favorite spot in La Jolla and took a lot of photos.
Got that that printed out, framed (8.5 x 11), and sprinkled some sand along the bottom inside of the frame (it's one of those where the glass pops into the front, with no border), and am going to ship it off tomorrow. Hopefully the sand won't get all over the place and the glass won't get broken. There you have it though, a custom made birthday greeting which came out better than I expected. :)
If she doesn't like it then I am going to be angry.
Palm trees always make me happy, this is on the drive home.

A seagull decided to get in the shot... he almost flew into my head, actually.

Earlier in the day kittyma0w decided to get in on the action.
He does this when no one is looking. We call it De-Press-Ed Kitty, or Dead Baby Seal. It's hilarious.

That was my day. It was nice. I didn't even mention Harry Potter, except... that when I was buying my ice cream at Ralph's, they had a big ol' display with HP balloons. I wanted one.
