can you follow this story of sweetness?
midnight found me at the tokyo police club (w/ will currie & the country french whom i like very much so) concert.
it was like a shot of glucose, short & sweet. & pulsating crowd & everything.
mmm, then midnight text messages, phone calls, emails & (of course) facebook wall posts.
my friends are too considerate. i can't show them my love enough.
emotions no longer dictate my life.
but they are essential, integrated & intercalated into the moments of it.
it's kinda funny how i thought that when i turned 19,
i'd enjoy life so much more with the freedom of attending any concert i wanted to go to.
the truth is, i don't have the time/energy/money to care as much as i did.
other things come up. more important things.
but! the music hasn't lost its magic yet. (never ever!)
i'll always be grateful to THE BOY LEAST LIKELY TO for introducing me to THE BICYCLES !!!
today was sweet. a huge toblerone bar & card were presented to me in physical biochem.
used my funky pink&black kooshy pen in biochem.
drank marmalade tea.
in french, we talked about crepes.
i walked in on funce & ester baking brownies (I WONDER FOR WHOM, HAHAHA)
got a chance to catch up with my chownie floormate in first year during bio.
then i walked into the guys' bathroom. by absent-minded mistake. (YES, i am 20 now.)
walked to 41 clergy & then "surprised" by my beloved big macs + pad girls + 1342348 other people (OKAY I EXAGGERATE.)
it was a party. up in thurrrr.
so many people & cakes(2!) & brownies & timbits & caf cookies & apple casserole & cards & presents & people & balloons & streamers & photos & people!
so many thoughtful presents, heartfelt & genuine cards & other such fitting things.
okay, so, i didn't end up using my polaroid during the day or night,
so justincase - i just took one of myself in the mirror to make sure the film was okay
& it turned out something like this:
ugh, all yellow-y & weird.
hope the next ones aren't like that (?!)
(will being outside make a difference? OR the film actually IS ruined AHHH.)
at home, settled in with my bailey's cheesecake slice from cogro(!) & apricot tea(!)
for the phone call from home, SO MANY EMAILS & ECARDS, msn messages & a long-distance skype call from hong kong(!!!)
i haven't talked to my oldest, first best friend since she moved there in 1994.
