[Personality]In Vergil’s eyes, power is the ultimate thing to posses. To accomplish anything all you need is the determination to plan it out and brute strength to see it through. This jaded view of the world probably ties back to his childhood, where he watched his mother be killed and could do nothing to stop it. He’s a firm believer in the strong conquers the weak and that a person needs might to protect the things they care about. Not that Vergil would ever admit to caring about anything but his ambitions. He’s a pro at closing off his emotions, and has a one track mind when it comes to accomplishing his goals. He’s willing to step on anyone to get there, even his own brother to some degree.
Despite demons being responsible for his mother’s death, he favors them and their strength over humans, who he sees as weak and pathetic. He despises his father for falling in love and refusing to choose strength above all, but he also respects him for the strength he did posses that he passed on to his sons. When it comes to Dante, Vergil’s feelings are complex. While on one hand, he’s not above stepping on his brother to get what he wants, another part of him wants his brother to join him on his quest for strength. Dante is probably the only person Vergil holds any feelings for at all and the few times where he does let his feelings control him, it’s usually because of Dante in some way.
Vergil is extremely arrogant, stubborn, and easily angered if you know what buttons to push. His idea of socializing is thrusting his sword through someone’s chest. Said sword, the Yamato, is a keep sake given to him from his father, and he treasures it greatly.
[Specialties/Abilities] Vergil is a highly skilled swordsman and his sword, Yamato, is his weapon of choice. His demon blood gives him superhuman strength, agility, speed, and healing. There’s also his Devil Trigger which unleashes all his demon strength and transforms his appearance to look more demon then human.
[Affection] I'll allow pretty much anything from hugs to stolen kisses, etc. But everyone should be warned that Vergil will try to slice off any body parts that come into contact with him that are not his own.
[Fighting] Vergil is a very skilled swordsman and also a decent shot with a gun when the need calls for it.
