Spring Cleaning ... In July

First of all we must take care of the Funny ... Phoenix Wright - Last Will And Testament

Off and on this week I've been cleaning my room up. It really wasn't planed or else I would have taken a /Before!!/ picture. For over a year I've been telling myself to clean my room... but kept putting it off and putting it off. My cleaning urges are motivated by whether or not other people will be there and since maybe once a year a person has to go into my room, and it's usually briefly, so the urge to clean my room just wasn't overwhelming enough to get me to do it. I was fine with climbing over things and it was just paper, manga and the only dirty thing cluttering my room was clothing which was cleaned up when ever I did laundry. I didn't find it inconveniencing at all so I just didn't care about it.
But then ...
On the 28th I bought a couple of rats and a huge ... HUGE cage for them. First I had to clear a space for the cage which took out a nice chunk of clutter that had accumulated after my trip to AWA. Mostly just my luggage that I had picked through and cleaned but then just sorta left it there. >_>; So now that was cleaned up and the cage was set up. Then I recalled yesterday that when I cleaned the cages of my old rats I always thought I'd trip over something as I carried them out of the room... so I cleared out stuff to make a path to my door. This morning I woke up at 7am (because I do that now) and because of that path I had cleared, things were pushed and shoved into new places I wasn't used to yet so I stumbled through my room in the dark and nearly fell over. Okay! It turns out that I'm also motivated by not falling over and busting my head open too, and after a hour of throwing lots of junk away and filling a couple of boxes with things I haven't touched in months... I can finally see carpet in my room again. :O

Next task is getting rid of those boxes full of clothing and other things I just don't need. And one of those boxes is full of manga. . . . I knew I had a lot of comics but I never had them in one spot before to look at and well ... /damn/. Since they were scattered around, the amount of it was surprising after I gathered it all in a box. And before I just dump this box at a bookstore I'm going to see if any of you want some of books I'm getting rid of. Either you can have them or borrow them... I don't care. I'll be keeping the box around for a while to make sure I /really/ want to get rid of them. I have been known to get rid of something and then turn around a couple months later and buy it again (damn you Final Fantasy 8).

Older books I should just get rid of-
Adam Warren's Dirty Pair : A Plague of Angels & Fatal But Not Serious
Oh My Goddess : 1 - 555 - Goddess, Love Potion # 9, Terrible Master Urd, The Queen of Vengeance & The Devil Miss Urd

There are a few books that are missing either because I have not found them yet or because I want to keep them. Like how I'm keeping my Hot Gimmick and Tokyo Boys & Girls *_* But people are more than welcome to borrow them.

As for work, it's still awesome. I'm almost shocked by how much I enjoy this job. Sure customer service sometimes is a pain and once in a while I'll have the person that gets pissed off when I ask for their licence because they don't understand that I'm doing that because I'm not going to give their money to just anybody that claims to be them... but besides the occasionally hair pulling moment... I love this job. I get along with the other employees... between transactions I'm always talking with the girl that sits in the station next to me and being in the motor bank kind of puts all of us out there in our own little world. We listen to the radio, order lunches together, and cycle through games and activities to keep ourselves entertained during slow times. First we read those trashy celebrity news magazines, then played Sudoku (asfsag crack in number form), started writing a murder mystery (which didn't work out but was still fun to plan and mull about) and now we're making jewelry. It's like summer camp... but at a bank. This past Friday me and Amanda (the girl that sits next to me) bought Betta fish to keep near our stations... mine is so pretty and I named him Draco.

In other pet news- I have three young female rats, because more than one male rat tends to ... smell very quickly. Clean their cage and half a day later ... augh what have you two been doing ... oh my god. So now I have girls and even went ahead and put in the extra money to get them one of those fancy three tier cages with some toys and plenty of space for them to romp around and have fun. Their names are Trixie, Tabby and Chloe. They are so cute... <3

Aside from that I haven't been doing much besides playing the Shadow Hearts games... just finished Covenant and going through it again with a walkthrough to get all the stuff I missed the first time I played it. Next I have to buy the third game. I haven't heard many good things said about it, but ... there's a character that has a guitar that turns into a machine gun, rocket launcher and a flame thrower... that's enough for me to want to play this game. .... oh and ... two more weeks until Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80's comes out!! <3
