Group names. No Con. Pictures. Other stuff.
While at work, I drifted off into that 'Want To Be ANYWHERE Else' mode and I started thinking about things I needed to mention to people that I don't talk to very much anymore.
First (So Robert will quit his bitching...) Issue To Address
I took charge of deciding a name for the little Akon group that we decided to turn into a club of sorts. The idea of calling us 'The 320 Pirates' just didn't sit well with me and I just want to use something else. I still haven't come up with anything I'm happy with, though I'm still working on it, and I also thought that it would be a good idea to see what other ideas people had. And if everyone else wants 'The 320 Pirates' then I guess I'll just deal with it and quit fighting against the title. So anyone? Your ideas? Suggestions for a name? Leave a comment.
Second Issue To Address
Seeing as I will be living in the Dallas Area by Akon, then anyone that doesn't want to stay in the Con hotel... or just wants to save money on staying in any hotel, is welcome to stay at my place. Of course there will be ground rules but I really don't think anyone will be stupid and thoughtless enough to break them even if they don't know them. There isn't much room left, but if I can't keep you at my place I could probably help you find a hotel in the area that is cheap and has shuttles to the Adam's Mark.
Third Issue To Address
As long as nothing huge happens to interfere- I'm going to go ahead and run No Con this year. It will begin Thursday afternoon and last until Monday morning (June 2 - June 6). You don't have to stay the entire time, but be understanding if I (and any other drivers) can't pick you up if you don't give us any warning. I'm going to start working out the schedule in a couple weeks and also I will work out a list of what things will cost that will be as accurate as possible. The cost of the actual Con is just paying for whatever you want to do (or buy), and any gas donations you want to make. Though I will work out making sound tracks, posters and shirts to buy... but they will only be made for people that request them and cost as cheap as I possible.
Fourth Issue To Address
Yesterday Olivia, Nicole and I had a fun filled 'Girls Only Day!' and exchanged Christmas gifts. It was a very awesome day.
Nicole gave me these small spirals with blank paper for me to draw on and decorated the fronts of them with very cute pictures she cut out of a Japanese fashion magazine. They were very cute! I really love the Shoujo one. :D A++(times a million). The scan really doesn't do it justice. She also got me pens to ink with and some fancy smancy good drawing paper (bristol? board?) but I'm going to save it for when I think my drawings are better.
Olivia bought Nicole and me matching shirts and then she had printed 'OMG!!!11' on them for our presents. They were very awesome. She doesn't ever worry about any present for me in the future now because I want them all to be shirts like this. I want a 'WTF' one. A 'No Con! Cause Akon Sucks!' one. And I'm sure within a few days I'll come up with TONs more.
Then I fell in love with the new photo booth in one of the Korean stores we go to. And here are the pictures-
