"Now let it be first understood that I am a god of War and of Vengeance. I shall deal hardly with them."
- CCXX III.3
"But ye, o my people, rise up & awake!"
- CCXX II.34
...to go astray within the abyss...is to become known as a "Black Brother"...the eleventh power-zone, Daäth, is attributed to Uranus and is the "Abode of the Black Brothers"...when viewed from the sphere of Malkuth (Earth)...the black brothers are represented phenomenally by those who view the universe as an objective reality....the scientists are their prototypes...Daäth being the gate of the abyss is the point both of ingress into noumenon and of egress into phenomena....in other words it is the gateway of the manifestation of non-manifestation...the disintegration of matter...the opposite of art...only a well-armed initiate can embrace such a powerful essence...and only through extreme discipline can he avoid being devoured...i believe that this extreme "discipline" lies within our shadows...or counter-egos...and by embracing all of our faults...finding beauty within the dissonace...we may break through...
"I've been crawling on my belly
Clearing out what could've been.
I've been wallowing in my own chaotic
And insecure delusions.
I wanna feel the change consume me,
Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
Cleansing I've endured within my shadow."
-Maynard James Keenan
...we all have things of the world...things of which we cling upon...whether it be an emotional bond, physical addiction, or spiritual dogma...we all are guilty of this...and i understand it is merely our natures...but i feel as if we may transcend our natural shells...through delving into our own dream realities...breaking into our unconcious...
"I have evolved a method of dream control for contacting extra-terrestrial and non-human entities..."
-Kenneth Grant
...and through lucid dreaming we may embrace our muscles memory...and discover what we have been hiding within our shadows...and i believe that this is not merely a option...but a neccesity...
"No more fatal mistake can be made than to grasp after a grade. Attainment is an appalling danger if one is not perfectly fitted for it at every point. One must search oneself unsparingly for weak spots; the smallest scratch suffices to admit a germ of disease and one may perish altogether through a moment's carelessness. It is unpardonably foolhardy to take a chance in matters of such serious import"
- The Confessions of Aleister Crowley
(Hill & Wang, 1970 E.V., page 526)
