(no subject)
So, We are playing our first true Boston show at T.T. the Bear's this Monday night (the 12th). It starts at 8:30. It is $3 and 18+. It's on the smaller stage, which I'm sort of pumped about.
I think this show should be a rockin' time, sooo, you should come out and sing with us if you are so inclined and in the general vacinity... or if you're not in the general vacinity and you want to truck it a bit because you're awesome.
regardless, we could use the support, because some time we might like to play there again if all goes well and you and your lovely voices and your smiling faces (and then your sad faces after we play you depressing songs) will hopefully help us to get asked back so we can play MORE true Boston shows.
...don't worry about that part before about the depressing songs. I truly think we make up for it with our collectively awkward sense of humor. and the sing-alongs! oooooh, the sound of many voices! 'tis a lovely thing. and i could use a lovely thing because the last couple weeks have been fairly problematic. and when i'm in a room full of people singing, it feels like my life is less complicated and more about the moment...which is awesome. maybe you will feel that way too!
i need to go back to bed so we can get this show on the road on monday.
