mickey mouse clubhouse
so, it's not too bad of a gig, I suppose. if you like cartoons, anyway. I'm lounging on the couch watching mickey mouse clubhouse, which will be followed by handy manny, my friends tigger and pooh, yesterday's tivo-d airing of word world (because we don't like big big world), and then sesame street (if they're in a good mood) or more tivo-d copies of pooh (if they're feeling picky). then I'll put them down for a nap and go curl up myself in the cushy guest bed, complete with a deliciously-comfy mattress and down pillows. mmmmm.
so, that's my job. wedding planning is coming along pretty good. maybe I can use this to blog about it, since noone reads this and therefore noone will be subjected to my random ramblings concerning wedding plans. excellent.
josh was still in bed when I left this morning. unfair. he's all cozy and grumbly when I try to snuggle him, because he just wants me to leave so he can go back to sleep. well thpbt! on him for getting to sleep in. hmph.
darrell, I don't know what to tell you about a phone; an iphone seems like something you'd enjoy, but it also seems entirely too, hrm... trendy, or something, for you to buy into. so, I dunno. I'm sort of shocked that you don't have some other incredible little-known version of an even better phone that is typically only available in, like, japan, or something. *shrugs*
I wanted to take the kids to the pool today, but their mom is busy this afternoon. I amn't afraid to take them places on my own, except the chidren's museum or the pool. two kids in a place as dangerous as either of those is one too many. maybe we'll go tomorrow.
I heard that emma had a baby girl. I'm still annoyed that she never passed on the journal I mailed her. even if it was high-school-ish, at least it is less... intangible, I guess, than something like this online journal. oh well. whatever. I stubbornly refuse to facebook or myspace, so I guess if people want to keep up with me, they'll have to branch out a little.
