Brussel was a surprise. Nicely put, it was very multicultural...and more bluntly said, it was 90 percent black. I was taught to say African-American instead of Black, but they are clearly not American, so I am not sure how to refer to them. Who knew Belgium had such a large black population? Especially coming out of Italy, where everyone was white, it was odd and different. Anyways, I met a couple of Brits who came from Paris like I did, and they thought Paris smelled like piss, while Brussel had a scent of chocolate in the air, while I thought the opposite. Paris was romantic, but I fortunately seemed to have managed to escape all the dead rats and scary hobos. I am in Cologne, Germany at the moment, and I have to sign off. Tschuss.
