...I'm not sure exactly where you are, but there's a river that leads to a village. It's downstream, I think, although someone else may correct me on that. Follow it. There's shelter, food and clothing there for you.

Yeah, I heard the part about snow; it's winter here. Try and locate the sound of running water; that should be the river that goes through town.

Follow my voice and you should find the book. All of us wake up with one, and it lets us communicate over distance.

I'm in town. If I knew for sure where you were, I'd come find you, but there's no use in two newcomers trying to locate each other in a place neither one of us know yet.

Towards the mountains, where the river forks. Unfortunately, I haven't been out in the forest yet, so that's about all I can tell you from looking at the map of the place. Your best bet is to keep talking to people who've been here for a while and give them a good description of where you are. They'll find you if you don't find us first.
