[The journal is showing someone huddled up under a tree holding... fire? Sure. Obviously that New Feather clothing isn't keeping him at all warm. The journal picks up the occasional mutter, but he seems to be focusing most of his energy on the fire in front of his face.]

Well there's a really big tree. Does that help you at all?

The trees here are pretty close together. I can't shoot fire in the air. I'll burn the forest down.

Well don't just stay in one place! There's a LOT of woods to cover out here! Find somewhere where there's NOT trees to burn. [And Sokka is also out looking too. And he brought a pair of spare booths AND a coat. He's totally on top of things.]

Also, if you hear water, then that's a river. That would be something to work with.
