[Visible to anyone near the bridge who is looking, there is someone sprawled propped up against the bank of the river. They seem to have not noticed that they are slowly being covered in snow. Anyone who pays a bit more attention will notice that the snow near the hip and shoulder has a slightly pinkish tinge to it, like they are slowly bleeding ( Read more... )

[Sokka is on his way across the bridge, on his way home, when he hears a faint voice... and spots somebody half buried in the snow. He doesn't recognize who it is right away, but he's not about to leave whoever it is like that. He immediately races over.]

Hey! Hey! Can you hear me? [Already he's kneeling down, ready to clear off the snow.]

What would you like me to say?[It's an attempt an snarking back, but not a very good one. It comes out more exhausted then anything else. He'll get back to that later Sokka, once he's feeling a bit better.]

I have no idea. I haven't been able to move to look.

Something a little snappier. [He sighs, and takes one of Zuko's arm, shifting positions so he can try to drag him home like that.] Come on, you'll get hypothermia out here like this. Can you stand?

[Sorry Sokka, snappier is apparently going to have to wait. As Sokka goes to move that arm he'll notice the injury to Zuko's shoulder, very similar to one he had months ago when Zuko had to be rescued in the tunnels after a run in with Aku and Yuber. Any closer inspection will show that his injuries all seem to match the injuries he had then.]

I don't know. I haven't be able to move to try standing yet.

[Sokka does notice. He backs off at first, a little shocked. That can't be right. Aku... Aku was gone. And Zuko had been kidnapped. He knew that.

... maybe it was just a coincidence. This is probably going to hurt, but this isn't like last time. It's freezing outside and he's more likely to do die of that than his injuries. So Sokka will start pulling him. It's times like these when still have that Malnosso super strength still comes in handy.]

[Zuko isn't expecting that strength from Sokka, and it takes him by surprise. He's rather stiff, but if Sokka gives him the chance he can kind of walk, just so long as he can lean all over Sokka. The leg of the hip injury isn't really usable at the moment.]

Can't you just bend the snow? Rather then dragging me around?
