[Katara meanwhile will stop by the clinic and pick up bandages and other basic medical supplies that she suddenly decides she needs to keep a store of in a bag in their house. She also straps on an extra waterskin and throws an extra canteen into the bag she's throwing basic field supplies in. Deserts mean dehydration, and that on top of wounds... But it won't take her too long before she meets Sokka at the smithy.]
[Sokka has already got a rope coiled around him. He's also armed with just a bit more weapons than his usual sword and boomerang. In addition, he's also managed to quickly nail together some old planks of wood into a makeshift sled. On top of it some extra chains. Far more than they actually need.
There's a very good reason for this. Sokka has his attention focused on the journals, a very concerned expression on his face.] Katara. You better look at this.
[Sokka nods.] And he could be going into the tunnels. He'll be powerless in there. [He glances at the chains lying on the sled.] I know Zuko is hurt, but this could be a major opportunity. We need to get some backup.
[For a moment, Katara wants to argue. Zuko could be in danger right now they couldn't afford to wait! But she'd thought about it, and she'd wanted to bring someone else without powers who could fight to back up Sokka in case healing Zuko wiped her out. And the more time they spent arguing about this, the more time they'd waste.]
Fine. Who do you know that can fight in the tunnel and will come with us? We need to move soon. If he finds Zuko before us, who knows what will happen?
[He thinks about this for a moment. People who can fight without powers. A few names come to mind.]
Longshot. Nash. Maybe even Vash. [He has other allies, but he has no idea how they'd handle straight combat without their powers to back them up. Would Luffy, Adell or Hugo be able to hold their own? Hard to say.]
...that's not a lot. [And that's a matter of some concern and... interest. But that's for a later time.] We can ask Longshot, but... Zuko's the Fire Lord. I don't know how happy he'll be about it.
Well, I could probably handle Kefka on my own if he has no magic. From what I've heard about him, he only does magic. I doubt he's much good in a real fight. [Was that an accidental diss there? Maybe, but moving on.]
If we took Longshot, he'd only be there as backup to take on Kefka and keep an eye on him if we manage to capture him.
[If it was a diss, Katara doesn't notice. She knows exactly how good of a fighter she is and she's confident in it.] But once we get him out, if I need to heal him right away, I won't be of much use until we're back. We should bring someone.
[Sokka reaches over in one of the corners and retrieves a spear.] Remember our fishing trips before you used to soak me? Same basic principle. Point and stab.
I'll take all the stuff to tunnel and meet you there, then.

Katara, where are you? It'll take us both to get him back.

Sokka, are you at the smithy? I'll meet you there.

[Some rope, definitely. He just needs something long and flat to work as a sled. Hmmm.]
