Volleyball
I am so happy to be home. I went to volleyball camp in Ohio for a week, it was fun, but I didn't know anyone. It was so cool though, last night they picked the best 9 players out of all the 11-12 graders and they got to play the Cedarville college team. Last year they made it to NAIA Nationals, which is the top 20 teams in the country, and they only lost one starter this year. I got picked to play and I was the starting middle hitter. It was so scary. We lost of course, but we put up a good fight. The first game was 15-25 and the second 18-25. I had like 6 blocks, including one back row hit I blocked. It was so cool. I blocked their setter once and she was like, "It's not fair, you're tall." In the beginning of the second game we were winning 6-1 AGAINST A COLLEGE TEAM! The head coach said it was the best All-Star game she had seen in years. My roomate Emily was on the team too and she was really really good. Anyways, it was a good camp. On Sunday I am leaving for another week to go to the Smoky Mountains and Mammoth Cave with my grandparents, aunt, and uncle. I kinda of wish I had more free time to lay around and I'm kind of glad to be so busy.
