First post in over a year
So I'm working as a receptionist in a law firm now and when there are no projects to work on, no clients calling or coming in, then I have time finally to browse the internet. I have discovered the wonder of Pandora radio, and am listening to The Clash radio station, which is currently playing Rebel Rebel by David Bowie. How cool.
My last job was what you might call my own personal purgatory. My new job is very strange in ways that I should probably not mention in a public forum (just office drama, the kind I'm not used to).
Anyway, I've had a lot of changes in the last couple months. My boyfriend broke up with me (he was one of those religious types, Lord only knows wtf I was doing with him), I moved into a new house, lost my job, got a new job, then everything in my house broke (ceiling caved in, plumbing backed up into the bath tub, squirrels in the attic, kitchen sink leaking water through the cupboards and onto the kitchen floor, and a break-in just to name the major things). On a positive note, it's Friday. Pay day. I am really looking forward to the weekend, Jacquie and I are going to smoke, drink, and do other trashy things (preferably but not exclusively of the type that will not get us arrested).
