Brrr...

Minnesota got its first snow this evening. :-)

My "boss" at the coffee shop visited the shop tonight just to tell me I could lock up early and leave the rest of the cleaning up to her for tomorrow morning. Such a sweet gesture made me chicken out on using the moment to voice my concern about her sister bringing a case of beer to the shop and having a few with her friends a few hours earlier. Thursday.

I took Maggie and Toby to the groomer's today. She suggested I take Maggie to the vet for a potential infection. One-eyed, ear-mited, malnourished cat. Epileptic, hyperactive big dog. Alpha-personality, hormonally unbalanced small dog with an anal infection. Fun times.

I cleaned another shelf of the storage room today and found the third dead mouse discovered in our house in the last eight months.

Job interview on Friday. National firm with offices in Chicago as well as Minneapolis. The Minneapolis office employ a fellow alum. Crossing fingers but also still hoping to hear from the U.S. Attorney's office.

Sunday school meeting. The directors of the program are amazing. Our new pastor is even more so. He lead a 30-minute Bible study to kick off our next unit and then sang a song. An amazing guitarist and singer.

Nine customers at the coffee shop. Five were people that I
a.) am not related to,
b.) do not have immediate reasons to think I'll become related to,
c.) am not dating, and
d.) do not consider close friends.

Good day.... well, except for the beer part.

E, EAC, her dad, and I are going to Harry Potter on Friday night. EAC had wanted to go to the movie with E since meeting him, and her dad figured paying for the movie would be a good way to repay me/us for hanging out with her and housesitting two weekends ago.

E asked me what I wanted for Christmas tonight. Last year is the only year that I can remember being able to come up with a reasonable, not too practical list. This year, I'm coming up with nothing. Except for a filing cabinet. Which I asked my dad for last night. Then he found one behind the shop that our neighbor pulled out from a business's garbage.

My mom says it is/looks tacky.

I say it'll work pretty cool.

Dad says I should at least paint it.

I plan to make it more tacky by just covering up the dents and markings with quotes and pictures.
