He gave me a great piece of advice, he said, ‘You’re somebody that people look up to. You represent something to other people. You give people something to believe in’. That’s actually what a rock star is. It isn’t somebody who has a lot of money, or someone who fucks around with groupies. Rock stars are something that people should believe in, they should give people hope. You need to take that by the balls and run with it instead of being afraid of it.’ After Billie said that to me, I started looking at it all differently. I felt I knew where I was supposed to be.
