So. I've never written an intro post before. I don't so much do friending memes. Ever. No offense - I like to know I will get along with someone before I commit to reading said person's words. Also, I am shy and antisocial.

I tend to be blunt, I tend to be honest. I dislike wasting my words. I mean, I'm juggling a rough family life, a dull and empty dayjob, and a job I love but can't make money off of. Throw in my friends and my writing, and I don't really have spare time. I talk about my home life a lot. Right now, not so much a great thing. If you don't want to hear about levels of drama that make Lifetime Television Movies look like Sesame Street, it's not too soon to run.
Okay then. About me. I'll answer to anything. Some people call me Bee, some call me Shelly, some call me Marshmallow... Well, one calls me that and it's my pimp name. I am tough. No really!
I camwhore from time to time (and yesterday I decided that I don't do that often enough...), I rarely draw but when I do it ends up scanned and shared. I write, but I spend more time just having fun with that than actually finishing anything. I am trying a thing where I post a song a day, roughly, just because I feel like sharing. I don't really filter or lock many posts.
I've been known to wear overdone scene make-up as a mask when I'm upset, I love skirts, black slacks, and making my family roll their eyes because my accent shifts constantly.
I have a weakness for gen. And for fic where Mikey is written smart. Um... Yes. And I possibly have hobbies like making a smikey set for Pidgin of Mikey's little face. I was Mikeyway in drag for Halloween, I like playing huge games of dirty word Scrabble with my friends, and I have been known to play with my food.
I talk to and about Chris and Linn practically every day, I live in a city but one on the frontier and it's semi-arid, so I will bitch about that. I get excited every Thursday because it's the day I get my British science newsletter.

My bandomversary passed in May or June, I think. I don't know if I count from the first time I saw a Panic video and thought "hatporn?" or from when I started ogling picspams, or what. So I don't count that one, I count my MyChemversary, which is September 5th. My ljversary is in October, but I always forget to celebrate it - I've been around here since '03.
I am always open to conversation, be it intellectual, crack, or both. Both is the most fun. I can be Very Serious about finding the science behind crack fic. So. I mostly stick to AIM. I have other messengers, but lately I don't log on. Padawan Lady on AIM, say hi (or jump into conversation) anytime. The others are listed in my profile. Nag me to log onto them if you prefer them.
