Notice: Carrying an evil eye does not ward off the effects of Walmart
All I did today was work. Okay, that's because I slept until after 9, but still. More than 8 hours at Walmart. I could feel my humanity draining away.
I figured out what some of the noises outside lately have been; today they replaced my windows. I know it was today because for a couple weeks there has been a loose board hanging weird in one of them.
But now I have to call the landlord, because I had a string of crystals hanging on the window latch and it's gone now. It's gone, and it's not set on the couch or the counter or the ironing board, and I've had those crystals since I was a kid and got my own room - before that they were my mother's in her window, for I don't know how long. They are what makes a place home.
I've been feeling really really twitchy and spazzy and off the past couple days; this doesn't help.
