tune ; the killers - midnight show

Wow, Monday, we really had no work.  That was the awesome.  So, I went to Peter's to turn in this Satire online because if I waited until I got home, it would've been too late. We listened to music, even some band reference music, which makes us ultra-geeky, and then went outside to look at his awesome new old drumset. Yes, I said it, "new old."  It's new for him, but it's old in the sense that it hasn't been opened since the 1940s.  I am so jealous, so very jealous.  We set part of it up, cleaned it up a bit. I smelled like old drums haha.  Then we went back inside to make some pizza for my trip.  Went to another friend's house just for leisure.  Had ourselves a good time and then I hurried back home so I could cook dinner for the folks.  Changed my tire.  So I smelled like three different things: 1940s drums, friend's house, tire.  Took an awesomely good shower.

Tuesday, band sectionals.  Our section got into much trouble.  We were having to much fun in band.  Went home and fell asleep.  Woke up at 12:30AM and then went back to sleep.

Today, woke up at 5:30AM thinking it was 6:30AM in which I walked into the kitchen to find the oven clock saying 5:30AM and then the thought "fuck" crossed le mind.  Got a neato parking space this morning though.  Got bored in the morning, so I challenged myself to park my car 1 inch from the curb, meaning both front and rear tires are exactly one inch from the curb and I do not hit the curb in the process.  Why? 'Cos I know my car so well that I can do 2 inches, but I never tried 1inch. (I can do 2 inches because someone challenged me to do it a while back and I was proving how well I know my car.)  So, there I was, trying to park, and damn, I lost my challenge.  The front tire was like 2 millimeters short of 1inch.  The rear tire, perfectly 1 inch. I know, hard to believe. I fucking shocked myself too.  Band period - The first band lap of the concert season. How awesome. How? An oboe played three extra notes on the scale. He's the only oboe. Ha. I've been wanting a lap so bad, and I guess I got my wish. Also signed up for Las Vegas buses today.  The group I would have normally been with if it were the beginning of the year (Steve (ex), Alec, Dean, Nick, you get the picture if you're in band) is on bus #2.  Heh, I am a bit sad I'm not on the same bus with them, because they are still incredibly fun, but I'm awesomely okay.  So I'm on bus #3. I love how there was this ridiculously long line outside the band room and I just went "Hey, Mitch!" and got close to him and we both signed up like within 5 seconds of that.  We are the awesome.  Breeze, Rob, and Julio are also on my bus. There are others, but I can't think of any at the moment. It'll be sweet.  Not as many phallic and racist jokes like on bus #2. Oh well, at least less chance of getting in trouble on this bus.  :D Woo!  Thursday is the day!

Vegas, we are going to FUNK you!
