this entry was originally meant to be posted august 5th. but i saved it and forgot about it till today, september 3rd:
hello my friends. it has been quite a while. which is probably a good thing, no doubt. to recap the last couple months: sasquatch festival was a great time. thats all i'm going to say. just look at the pictures (in order of the photographers: caitlin, myself, and guy)
summer school has come and gone and i couldn't be happier about that. the first session was nice and easy. i took bowling with a couple buddies and also health, which was a televideo class. the second session was a bit more difficult, and by that i mean extremely hard. i took financial accounting 1 and business english. probably wasn't a good idea to take two major classes in a condensed 4-6 week session. but i pulled through it and came out with A's and B's. so i have been enjoying my summer since july 29th. and i feel i crammed a lot in in about a week. i've been surfing a lot lately. i have to say i'm enjoying it very much. on a side note, i also went fishing lately a couple times on ventura pier and saw a guy who caught a 5 foot thresher shark. and then the next day joel went and saw someone else catch 2 thresher sharks around the same size. sharks terrify me. thats really close to where we usually go and there are sharks close to my size swimming around. thats ridiculous. i looked up the type of shark they caught and they usually don't attack people. but there was an account of a thresher decapitating someone when it jumped out of water and swung its tail. but who knows if thats true. anyway, i start my job on thursday. im working at the moorpark college bookstore for a little while. just when i finish with that school they find a way to pull me back in. this entry has exhausted me.
