Brej, I am annoyed. Why, you ask? Well, it seems like I am being thwarted in my quest to see Rent, the movie. First, I was given passes to the press screening last week and was CRAZY DELERIOUS with joy over this... until I realized it was on the same evening as my last night of parent-teacher interviews. BAH. Bah, I tell you! It was the last two hours of three days of seeing parents, and by the end of that evening I had seen almost 100 parents, so believe you me, I was not very amused about the situation.
I thought I could rectify it by seeing the movie as soon as I escaped left school today, but I have to go review a production of Romeo and Juliet at 8, and the playing times for Rent are such that I can't cram in a viewing between school and having to be at the theatre to review R&J. GRRR. *annoyed grumbling* I feel this is very unfair.
Anyone who wants to be all, "OMGZ U R SO IMPATIENT! SEE IT TOMORROW LIKE OMGZ!!!1one!" clearly does not understand my pain.
While I am on the subject of movies, though, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire kicked ass. If you hated the other three movies, you'll probably hate most of this one; if you loved the other three, you'll love this one a lot. I'm-a go see it again on the weekend, I think. Watch this space for a more thorough review.
I have not listened to Rex's single yet, because I don't care, and I have not listened to Melissa's album because they're sending it to me and I don't care enough to actually spend money on it to get it right away.
I love
my new flatiron. It is really a genius of a tool.
I think that is all for now. Back to work!
