Emily Haines on Fangirls... HEH!

Nov 06, 2005 17:02

Emily Haines, in her tour diary in today's Toronto Star:The front row was all teenage girls in high fashion photographing me with their camera phones whenever I approached the front of the stage. It made me feel cheap, like they were collecting me.
Heh. That's exactly how I feel about all the camera phone kids and the entire camera phone culture in general.

In totally unrelated news, tomorrow is the first of three days of parent-teacher interviews at school (the other two days are next week, even though that makes no sense whatsover), and between the fact that I have to see thirty-six parents (that's seven hours of straight interviews, good people!) and the fact that no one really understands the school's new assessment and evaluation policy, and now we're being forced to explain it to parents, I am rather stressed. Add to that the fact that all these P/T days are cutting into my rehearsal schedule for the fall mini-production and the multicultural show and I am getting really stressed. Ugh.
