So Young, So Wise

I have an extremely bright student in one of my Grade 7 classes who also has one of the major roles in my upcoming production of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Today, she came to rehearsal a bit early, so she started talking to me about random things, and suddenly, she stopped and said, "Do you know what I don't like?" When I asked her what, she replied, "Lemmings. I hate when people become lemmings."

WORD, my dear. Now, there's a wise child who would appreciate conceptual justice! Smart children make my job awesome, because with a little good guidance, they will grow up to be smart adults, and that's one less stupid lemming in the world to worry about. *bloody thumbs up!*
