(no subject)
So in-game, when a Hunter pounces a teammate, you can smack them off with a melee attack. Usually they'll be stunned for a few seconds afterwards. Sometimes though, they do a roll when you hit them that makes them instantly able to attack again. It looks something like this.
WHY DO I GET THE URGE TO DO THIS KIND OF THING
Anyway this just a rough sketch version of the animation, I'm debating whether or not to actually go in and clean it up properly and color it or wherever. HOW DO YOU CLASSIFY THIS? It's not exactly tracing since I freehanded all these frames, but I DID use the original gif for the motion and poses. For example
I first set up these stick figures over the base Hunter, then drew ladyHunter over them as a sort of mix between these lines and the original. ROTOSCOPING?? IS THAT IT? WHAT IS THIS? Besides pointless, anyway. It's also 60 frames or so so cleaning/coloring it up will be a paaaain
Also Hunter related, but for those of you who play the game itself, Evil Policeman has been working on a replacement model for the maleHunter that will make him ladyHunter. :O And he has a beta version of it here, just unzip the vpk file into the addons folder and bam, there she is. :O
However, if you don't have L4D but still want to see her, there are also videos of her in action! Here without textures, and here with partial textures. She's still in beta so he's going to keep working on her but NOW SHE CAN HOP AROUND IN YOUR OWN GAME
