Player: Jenny
Character: Jade Harley
Fandom: Homestuck
Type of update: Canon, Power, or both!
Current powerset:
Rest: Can heal herself while she sleeps
GPS: Knows the layout of locations and where she is in relation to them
Space Manipulation: Can open portals, slow down/speed up objects, etc.

Specifics: After Jade's conversations with Karkat, she waits on her planet with Jack for the Scratch. She sees a giant bundle of shaving cream floating down from the sky, with CD atop it. He detonates the makeshift bomb, killing Jade and the tadpole that would create their new universe. Jack flips out, enraged, and kills him before placing Jade gently on her quest bed. He then disappears, teleporting to earth and killing the Exiles before using a machine there to transport to the trolls' session. There, he'll continue his rampage, which has already happened from the trolls' point of view. Meanwhile, John completes the Scratch on the Beat Mesa in the Land of Heat and Clockwork, and Dave and Rose make their way towards the Green Sun. They sit on their quest beds in the crypt of Derse and deploy the Tumor, which splits to reveal two tubes, one containing their universe and one containing the trolls'.

Jadesprite and Davesprite look on in horror as a meteor heads towards them in Skaia. Jade, however, has begun to ascend to god tier, as her dreamself is still technically alive in the form of Jadesprite. The two merge, Jade's consciousness entering Jadesprite, and she reaches god tier, keeping Jade's dog ears. Using her new found powers, she stops the meteor and shrinks it until it can fit in the palm of her hand as Davesprite watches. She picks up an abandoned Prospitian ship nearby, boarding it and using telekinesis to make it hover above the battleground, then shrinks Skaia--and Davesprite--and brings them with her to LOHAC.

There, she finds John waiting on the scratched Beat Mesa and brings him aboard before shrinking LOHAC and the other remaining Lands in turn. She decaptchalogues the fourth wall she had stored (STAY WITH ME) and enlarges it. As she does so, Dave and Rose detonate the Tumor, destroying both universes and dying. As they're on their quest beds in the crypt of Derse, though, they ascend to god tier as well in the same way Aradia did. However, this explosion doesn't destroy the Green Sun, it creates it, and as Rose and John and the trolls propel themselves toward it to meet up, Jade sends the ship she and John are on through the fourth wall.

Powers time! Jade actually has canon powers now. The scary news is that, as her dreamself was combined with Jadesprite and with Bec, Jade technically has the powers of a sprite and a first guardian now. What does this mean? Well, Jadesprite's powers were the same as Bec's, so those two overlap. Sprites simply have intricate knowledge of Sburb, which won't come up in CnC not only because it isn't relevant, but because Jade hates revealing the future to people. So basically, here's a breakdown.

God Tier: God Tier is the highest of levels in Sburb. Essentially, Jade has become a god (or would function as one in the new universe Sburb creates). This grants her immortality, and she can only be killed if her death is heroic or just. If she does sustain an injury that would kill a normal person, she will revive moments later. In addition, it gives her complete control over her aspect, which is space, and the ability to fly.

Space Manipulation: This is where things get a little scary! Complete control over space means not only that Jade can do lots of cool stuff, but that she has an innate knowledge of how space operates and how to toy with it, like Aradia does with time. Now, Bec already had space powers, so he won't really be giving her anything other than a power boost like the same-type attack bonus in Pokemon. It also means that Jade is powered by the Green Sun. This means little for CnC, but poses a big problem in canon, as the main bad guy is also powered by it! But basically, Jade/Jadesprite/Bec have been shown to do the following:

- Shrink/enlarge objects
- Teleport objects (and themselves) to other locations, within sight or not
- Open portals (Jade seems to be able to open them independently from herself in the form of spirographs, while Bec makes himself into a portal)
- Telekinesis. Pretty self explanatory, though Jade can only manipulate objects, not use TK blasts or shields like lots of other telekinetics.

She'll also be retaining her GPS sense thing. She will not be able to open interdimensional portals (it seems Bec might be able to do this) or use the strange energy blasts/green fire that Bec and Jack Noir can use.

I'm not thinking this will need to be nerfed, as Jade isn't really a superhero. She doesn't patrol or hunt down villians, and only fights when it's to protect her friends. She will use her space powers to evacuate people if she has the chance to in plots, like she has before, but for the most part she avoids actual combat. I'll also be making a very conscious effort not to have her jump into things, so she won't be fixing every (or even most) problems the game runs into.
