Yes, I've been thinking about ways to indicate updates. I've worked on this project in fits and spurts since summer 2011, and I tend to add fics and edit listings as soon as I've got new data and time to type it in, and it goes live bit by bit.

LJ does not allow javascript, so I can't use an automated 'last updated' stamp. I hand-code all the entries in html so I can use a format that's designed to make it easy to scan down the list, and skim the titles, recs, summaries, ratings, etc. I could certainly add info about updates to each listing, but I want to make it an efficient process, and one that doesn't add visual clutter to the fic list.

This has been on the back burner, but your comment has spurred me into action! Just knowing that people use the list and keep coming back to it, looking for updates, has helped me focus on establishing a reader-friendly 'added/updated' system. It's in the works! Thanks again.

Did I mention WE LOVE FEEDBACK? This is a labor of love for your intrepid list co-curators. Since this is a free LJ account, we don't really have any useful stats about site visitors. Let us know you're out there, people! We want to know what you think!
