[Sophie was being extra observant that day, out of nervousness of what might happen on the holiday, so when she hears something out in the yard so cautiously steps outside, a broom in hand just in case.]

Hello? [She looks around and sees nothing until she takes a moment to look down, and oh! There's a pig looking quite lost.]

Oh dear. What are you doing here? [She bends down to see him better.]

[He looks around and nods, making the usual pig sounds that he makes and trying to communicate the fact that he needs water.]

[Ryoga's plenty scared right now, but that's mostly due to the fact that he doesn't want anything happening to him while he's in this vulnerable state-- especially in a female's home! If he DOES get splashed with hot water...

On the other hand, shelter is a good idea for now. So he quickly scurries into the woman's house.]

I can say I didn't imagine I'd see a pig here. I don't know if I've actually seen any animals since I arrived here. Perhaps we should bring you to Daine. She's partial to animals after all.

[She's really musing to herself, but she doesn't find it odd at all to be speaking to an animal, not that she expected him to understand.

As she does this she goes to the sink and fills a bowl with some cold water, then places it on the floor.] There. You must be thirsty.

[Success! That meant that she understood, right? She possibly even knew about Jusenkyo! He leaned his head into the water for a moment and winced-- it was cold. So, she didn't really get it.] Bwe...weo.

[He looks rather sad about it, and just drinks from it then, pushing down on the edge a little and making a very small mess.]

[He nods. That should work, he's not very picky when it comes to food-- as long as they weren't trying to fatten him up.
