Right, so, as the subject says, this is the permissions post for Maka's Soul Perception ability, 'cause it kind of is pretty godmody. My
profile meme post talks about it in the abilities section, so I'm not going to go in-depth here; if you're not familiar with the canon, go check the post out, or if you have any questions because I'm too vague or

Character: Inspector Javert
What can be seen: He's mostly a normal human, though he has his moments of strangeness and uncanny perceptive abilities. He is half-gypsy, and Victor Hugo implies on several occasions that Javert has inherited some of his mother's mystical fortune-telling powers. Whether this means he is hyper-observant or actually has some mild clairvoyant perception/intuition remains at conjecture. Though to be certain Javert would attribute his 'knack' to his thoroughness and keen eye.
Javert is an inherently mysterious man. He does not let on much about himself, nor does he offer any deep information about his background, his wants, his reasoning, anything. Most prominently he is an extremely honest individual to a fault, even to his own detriment. He has a very dry sense of humor (if you could call it that). He is extremely strict and rigid for the most part, and all of this makes him an unpleasant if well-meaning individual.
However, he does have his demons. Valjean has left his mark on Javert's soul, so to speak. Where Javert had once never doubted the Law or his course in life, he now finds himself questioning such processes more and more by the day. This is slowly eating away at him, and it's definitely one of the causes of his suicide. It bothers him that Edgeworth has hired him and placed him in charge of the Somarium police service, but he has come to terms with continuing his work, recognizing it as a punishment he must endure and suffer through as long as he exists in this 'afterlife' or 'dreamworld' or whatever it is. In any case, change is slowly taking hold of the man like a CANCER or some crap like that - and some would argue it is for the better, despite his propensity to space out mid-conversation and lose himself in his ponderings.
