I've decided to make Magic Club my NaNo this year. Because I have a vague sort of plan for it, but no real writing done, and I really can't afford to start another WIP right now that I... you know, just did.
But besides that, I am coming up with a cunning plan.
First: My two major hurtles last year in NaNo were chores (specifically cooking, I think) and college applications. College applications won't be happening this year, and I'll have dorm food to sustain me so chores won't be happening either.
Second: I will post everything I write, right away. That way I can't nit-pick everything and go back and fix my grammar in the middle of writing some epic battle.
Third: I will make people send me care packages throughout November, somehow. Not sure how, yet.
Anyway. Maybe I'll do one of my WIPs for a summerwrimo, as practice. Say, FBaWtFT? That would be a chapter every couple days, which is managable. And then I'd have one less WIP to worry about, later. Plus, less boredom and sitting around doing puzzles only to find that 20 pieces are missing...
It disheartens me to realize that 99% of my posts are about writing when I'm going into biology. I really hope I'm not making a mistake with that...
