Okay. The novelty has worn off. I'm sick of work. And tired, because I'm incapable of falling asleep before 2am and I have to wake up at 6:20 to make it there on time...
Maybe I'll start sleeping on the train. There's a reason iPods have alarm clocks, right?
Also: this job is supposed to take 1-3weeks. There are about 20 binders full of stuff I need to type up, So far, I've got through two. Two of the thinner ones.
By my calculations, that means I'll need four weeks to do them all, at least. And I'm not a slow typer, on things like this. And I've been working through half my lunch break, because I don't need a whole hour to eat and I get more pay if I do it this way... So I can eat out for every lunch!
I swear there is an XKCD comic for everything I think of...
http://xkcd.com/418/ Replace "cook bacon" with "go out and have a goat-cheese burrito" and there you have it.
Anyway. Found an interesting site.
http://www.i-dose.us/ It makes sounds. They are supposed to do things to your brain when you listen to them with headphnes, due to differences between the frequencies in each ear. The one called "Energy drink" gives me the jitters, just like caffeine does in sufficient (three-pepsi) doses. So I'm not listening to it anymore. The others don't seem to do anything, but I have crappy headphones and the Olympics are on TV across the room, so that could explain it.
Apparently there's some site out there that does the same thing, but is supposed to simulate the feelings of illegal drugs. I think I'll stay clear of that one, though.
*is too tired to think*
*considers trying the energy drink music again*
*Decides to try "Coffee Break* instead*
