So I'm in Texas for the next day and a half. It's funny how nothing lights up my cousins' eyes like things that go boom. Last year was pretty unimpressive, given that a couple of them took to making mainly their own fireworks that year, and couldn't quite get things right. I'm not sure if I'm more shocked that Kevin thought gutting several fireworks and just putting them together haphazardly would make things much better, or that it actually didn't kill him, and made some pretty cool effects the few times they actually got into the air.
I can't get drunk fast enough. I'm still aware of how dangerous a shed full of fireworks around a bunch of drunk idiots is. Definitely too sober.
Though, I don't think I'd mind if any went into the goat pen on accident again this year. I was so disappointed when the one that took off in that direction last year turned out to be one of the failed experiments and didn't even go off.
