Fandom: Star Wars
Character: Anakin Skywalker
Sorting:
The idea of Anakin as a Gryffindor might come as a surprise to those who tend to focus almost exclusively on Darth Vader and his role as a "villain", but in my head Gryffindor is by far the best choice.
The house of Gryffindor emphasises the traits of courage, daring, nerve and chivalry. The same traits are an essential part of Anakin's character.
Anakin is the epitome of the knight in shining armor.
He's brave to the point of recklessness, even earning the moniker of "Hero with no fear" at the time of the Clone Wars. He has a strong natural sense of what is right, and seems to be in a endless quest to fix the world around him. Anakin won't go down without a good fight, and won't accept defeat in the defense of his loved ones, to whom he's extraordinarily devoted. He will stop at nothing to keep those he loves from harm... even at the cost of his life... even at the cost of his own soul.

Fandom: Gossip Girl
Character: Blair Waldorf
Sorting:
The Slytherin house is traditionally home to those who are cunning, resourceful, ambitious, and who are highly determined. Those are traits that Blair embodies like very few other characters, even if most of those traits might come from her own insecurities. That's evidenced in the way she's often scheming around and sabotaging her competition, rarely leaving success to chance or to her own talents. Blair is achievement-oriented, and she'll use any means to achieve her ends, even though one could think there isn't much left for her to achieve - she's part of Manhattan's privileged elite, after all. She has everything. Or does she?
Blair also has a sensitive side - and no one can convince me that Slytherins don't have a sensitive side, it's just overlooked. She won't hesitate to come in the defense of people she cares about, and she has a way to put her friends' foes in their right place.
