Songs in the Key of F

Apr 22, 2010 15:26

I recently re-loaded my iPod with new tunes from The U-Mike Collection and have been listening to them in alphabetical order by song title. Today I got to "F" and was extremely amused by the sheer randomness of songs and artists, so I wanted to share. Besides, the list below features k_sui's two favorite Rush songs.

"Far Far Away" -- Slade
"Fascination Street" -- The Cure
"Feel Good Hit of the Summer" -- Queens of the Stone Age
"Feel Good Inc." -- Gorillaz
"Fever" -- Peggy Lee
"Fight The Power" -- Public Enemy
"Filthy/Gorgeous" -- Scissor Sisters
"Fire" -- The Jimi Hendrix Experience
"Flagpole Sitta" -- Harvey Danger
"Floating in Space" -- Spiritualized
"Flute Loop" -- Beastie Boys
"Fly By Night" -- Rush
"Flyin' The Flannel" -- fIREHOSE
"Folsom Prison Blues" -- Johnny Cash
"Fool in the Rain" -- Led Zeppelin
"Foolin'" -- Def Leppard
"Foreplay/Long Time" -- Boston
"Free as a Bird" -- The Beatles
"Free Your Mind" -- En Vogue
"Free Will" -- Rush
"From Now On" -- Supertramp
"From out of Nowhere" -- Faith No More
"From Rusholme with Love" -- Mint Royale
"(Funky) Sex Farm" -- Spinal Tap

I could attempt to explain the inclusion of songs by Def Leppard and En Vogue, etc., but there's no real point. I'll just say "nostalgia" and leave it at that. What I will say is that if you know of a song that's anywhere near as awesome as "From Rusholme with Love" by Mint Royale, please let me know immediately.
