So I have just wasted 2 hours of my life doing nothing but going through songs on i-tunes. Searching for things that I haven't heard in years. Or songs that I have never ever heard before, but deciding to spend money on, since they sound pretty awesome. Or songs that I should have but somehow don't have. It sucks cuz when we moved to Cali, all my songs from...well since like junior year of high school were all on this computer. Those are rare songs too...many songs found from limewire or some shit i had before that. And those were put on cds, and loaded on here. And now the cds are gone forever and...well those songs are gone forever. But I guess that doesn't matter...if i dont remember them, how good were they really?

anyway. During my search, I found a 23 page list of random celebrities/actors/musicians and they, for i-tunes and probably for some moolah, added their songs. their "playlists". And...I found it to be a fun idea. So I am going to do it. And I am only posting it on here, cuz, well I am not some famous person. So just ignore this post, its something im doing, well just for me. I guess...

"One Headlight" by the Wallflowers.
Very mellow and great beat. Deserves a cigarette and a long drive ahead of you.

"Smile And Wave" by Maria Taylor
Amazing lyrics. Unique sound. Melancholy but inviting.

"Be Be Your Love" by Rachael Yamagata
The new Norah Jones. A tad better, in my opinion. Got to love the Piano.

"Bennie and the Jets" by Elton John.
One of the most fun songs to lost yourself in and dance to.

"Boston" by Augustana.
Simply on my list because of the emotion and strength it gave me to move away.

"Take Five" by Dave Brubeck.
Trying not to let songs take me to memories, however this one i played everytime It was snowing outside and was walking to class in the cold of winter up in Marquette.

"Downtown" by Petula Clark
Aunt Lynn.

"American Dirt" by Matthew Ryan
New artist Patrick introduced me to. Very soothing. Much love already.

"Come Pick Me Up" by Ryan Adams
This song is amazing. Sad, melancholy beat to it, but so delicious. beautiful harmonica and piano.

"Waltz No. 2" by Elliot Smith
Pure Genious. Pure Sadness. Art in many ways.

"Proud" by Heather Small
Allows you to have the feeling of being able to do anything in the world. And if you can't, get up and do it. Very Powerful. Reminds me of my qaf days.

"Tous Les Matins" by The French Guy
Really only Angie would get this. And this simply reminds of high school. And NIT. :-D.

"Poses" by Rufus Wainwright.
I shall forever owe my life to the man who played this song on episode 216 and let me into the world of Rufus Wainwright. Pure Love.

"Happy Ending" by Mika
Cheezy but beautiful. Touches tragedy and memories. But not enough to make me cry.

"River of Dreams" by Billy Joel
Puts me back to the age of 7. Lots of love to this song.

"Black Rock" by O.A.R.
Hands down my Favorite song on the planet. And that's a bold statement. I just love it. And if you haven't listened to it, no matter if you like this type of music, it will hit something.

"Sexyback" by Justin Timberlake.
Easiest song to get up and dance to. You feel sexy. It gets you pumped. And I can listen to it 1000 times over.

"Big Girl (You are Beautiful)" by Mika
Very fun song to dance to. Makes us big ladies feel goooooood.

"That Was A Crazy Game of Poker" by O.A.R.
One of the Funnest songs you have ever heard. Depending on the version, it ranges from 6-13 minutes long, and it could just go on forever. Much more fun to hear in person.

"Swing, Swing" by The All American Rejects.
You know why......

"Worn me Down" by Rachael Yamagata
It's like we went through the same god damn thing. This song helped me a lot in 2007.

"Little Boxes" by Elvis Castello
Not really done by Elvis Castello but he does an amazing cover. Richie showed me this song. And its pretty amazing.

"I'm Yours" by Jason Mraz
I tried to find a Jason Mraz song to throw on hear. And then this came on. Just listen, and it explains itself.

"Dani California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Okay, another memory. Everytime I did the long drive to Mt. Pleasant or E. Lansing or Home....this song had to play at least 5 times; and every time i had to have a red bull and a cigarette. Oh god, good times.

"Loretta Young Silks" by Sneaker Pimps
Probably number 2 on my fav list. I can't even explain why...it just is.

"Exitlude" by the Killers
This song is the one song that can make me cry in less than 10 seconds. And no, it's not a good thing. But it has a special place in my heart.

"I Hate Everyone" by Get Set Go
My Anthem. If only they added a verse about alcohol....

"Your Song" by Ewan Mcgregor
Give me a reason to take it off this list.....

I'm sure there is much more. And this still seems like a bit much.

I just couldn't stop.

Anyway that was fun.
Goodnight!
