its fucked how racist everyone is but at the same time i can understand their anger. cause its not just a couple of lifesavers, its been going on for the last 20 years. people getting abused by ethnic gangs, beat up for being white. and i know how shit it is to not feel safe in your own suburb because of random wankers wanting to fight for no good reason.

not saying their reaction was justified, but its important to take a look at why there has been such a strong response. 5000 people dont care about a life saver, 5000 people care that they've been harassed all their lives and are sick of it. police in mackay wont touch aboriginal kids for fear of getting in shit over it, but they're beating people up and stealing their money. they tell them to move on and be done with it. imo the police needed to deal with the very real gang threat years ago or it wouldn't have come to this.

that said, the caucasian response is totally stupid. 1) they're not attacking the right people, 2) even if they are, all it means is that they come back with more people and there's an even bigger fight. i mean fuck. if that is going to work they'd have to kill every single one of them because if you get involved with 'my gangs bigger than yours' they just come back with guns, so you come back with guns, then everyone's dead.

FUCK. people need to grow up on all sides of the fence. the racism in the ethnic and caucasian camps is ridiculous.
