Fatigue

I hate the feeling of fatigue and how it consumes you. It's as if at first, your foot is stuck in some quagmire. You shake it off and try to move out of it, thinking that it's just a while more before you're done. You stick a bit more. You sink deeper into the swamp. Time passes, you realise that slowly but surely, your progress is slowly creeping to a halt. No matter how hard you try and grasp, there's nothing solid to hold on to. You find it increasingly difficult to breathe, your legs feel like they're stepping on air.

And then to top it all off, you find yourself sinking to the point of no return. You are robbed of your energy. The world is a blur. Then you die.

Only to have it start again the next day.
