Mom's procedure ended about an hour ago and things went well. She has the beginning of atherosclerosis (I believe it was), so she has some plaque build-up in one of her arteries. The doctor said it wasn't bad enough to warrant any surgery, she just has to lower her LDL cholesterol.
Things are much much better than they could have been. Maybe the ER people just wanted me to have a panic attack or something, who knows. All I know is that I need a nap and some food.
