In other news, I am really excited about the next projects I have to do in school!
1. Challenge and Change in Society, final project. Topic: homophobia
-The first part was the literature review.
-The next part is the fun stuff! I get to conduct my own sociological research, ie interview Dave Vervoort and maybe someone from Change Now.
2. Politics, News Report.
-Everyone in the class is going to specialize in one of the costs of war, specifically the war on terrorism, and write a report about it.
-These reports can then be a)modified and sent to a newspaper, b)put on a website that we might possibly create, and/or c)used in a powerpoint presentation that will be interspliced in the War Child fundraiser/Woodstock kind of music/poem/whatever kind of thing.. which will kick so much butt like you can't even imagine.
PS Time is whipping by these days. I am going about my ways like the tortoise, exept this tortoise is being carried on a giant truck, of sorts. It's relativity all over again- the tortoise goes on minding his own business, and when he looks outside of the truck to remember yesterday, he realizes that his yesterday is two weeks behing him already..
