Messiness
Life gets messy sometimes. Like now, wherein my IDE controller seems to be on the fritz. At least, I'm hoping it's the controller and not the drive, which would be sad for a number of reasons which I won't express in public for shame of them, by which shame you should be able to guess them.
Woe, woe. Best of all is that there seem to be no computer shows in the area. Chalk one up for Maryland.
[Update] The machine's up and running again, and I've backed up the truly necessary bits to more reliable storage. We'll see how long she holds out, Cap'n.
