Hmm, everything has it's share of ups and downs, truly. The festival was quite lovely when it went on, and surely there will be another at some time to boost everyone's spirits...

Isn't it? If we can't have another festival, then we definitely need to get the word out about celebrating on the 25th! Oh man, I reaaaally hope the Mallies don't mess this up for all of us ...

We certainly should see about doing something, even if it's just to boost everyone's spirits. Perhaps it doesn't even have to be on one specific day... I'm sure if Haruki were to plan another festival, there would be word of it around...

Hmm, another festival right after one just went on might be a little too much ... oooohh, maybe we should get a big tree and put it in the center of the village, and get it all decorated and nice looking! It's nothing too big, but hey, it's nice to look at, and might cheer a few people up!

Yeah! During Christmas, you get a big ol' pine tree and cover it with tinsel and all sorts of decorations! Even candy~! Oh man, candy canes, how I miss your sweet minty flavor ...

Your Christmas sounds something like our Winter Solstice, if a bit more involved.

Oh, I think in my world, Winter Solstice is what Christmas was based off of! Well, besides the whole religious aspect of Christmas, anyway. But otherwise, they're pretty similar!
