[Action/Log]

After the fourth patrol around the onmyouji's house to make sure someone who could be highly needed didn't do something downright stupid, Hiyono decided to take a little break. This break, of course, included some information combing -- information on Diavolo, of course. Happening upon the last entry that man had made, Hiyono noticed that Subaru had had a conversation with the man. However, since it had been voiced, and she was trying to be at least somewhat stealthy, she knew playing it back would be a dumb move, especially out in the open.

"... maaaaan ... I can't work like this," she mumbled out with a sigh. It took her all of four seconds to come up with another plan of action, however. "I'll just knock on his door and ask him! And maybe get something to eat too, geez am I hungry."

However, Hiyono's knocks went without a response. As did the second and third attempt at knocking. Now, Hiyono knew Subaru was still home. In fact, she climbed the tree near his house and looked in his window -- yep, he was sitting in his room, just staring out the opposite window. So, of course, Hiyono figured her knocking wasn't loud enough and gave the door a multitude of kicks.

"I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE, I JUST LOOKED IN YOUR WINDOW! ANSWER THE DOOR! C'MON, IT'S NOT LIKE I'M GOING TO BOTHER YOU MUCH OR ANYTHING! GEEZ, OPEN OPEN OP--"

The last few kicks flew farther than she anticipated, and on top of that, the last was caught. In Hiyono's kicking frenzy, Subaru finally answered the door and had been forced to avoid about three kicks before he caught the fourth and got her to stop. He let go after she realized what just happened and stood staring emotionlessly, waiting for an explanation.

"Ah. Ahah. Hahahah~, look at that, you finally answered! So yeah, I figured that since I'm going to be hanging around this area for a while, I could get a little info from you! How about it?"

"... I have nothing to tell you. I'd appreciate it if you'd leave myself and my door in peace," he responded, glancing off to the side and already looking as if he were about to shut the door in her face. "Why are you in this area to begin with?"

Hiyono pouted, crossing her arms and staring directly at the older male. "I can go where ever I want! And you really have nothing to tell an expert who can easily research things once she's got some information?" She paused, changing the pout to a smirk. "Not even about Diavolo?"

The glance moved from the wall to Hiyono, and in addition to that, looked a bit dangerous. However, Hiyono's smirk didn't budge -- she looked absolutely fearless, in fact. After a few moments of silence, Subaru moved away from the door and into the home's living room, dropping the obvious hint that he'd talk with the girl. At least, that's how Hiyono took it. She simply smiled, stepped in the house, and closed the door behind her

"Alright~! You better have something to eat in here! I'm starving!"

[[OOC: Longer story short, Subaru told Hiyono everything he knows about Diavolo's intentions in the hopes that she'll come back to him with more information. And yes, I'll be doing some self-threading with some of my muses from time to time now, since I think I've been unfair by keeping their "threads" in my mind only.]]

The Luceti Chronicles
Volume 3

Top Stories

-> We've been getting more organized -- a council is in the works, as well as efforts by our local go-getter group, the Blue Rogues, as headed by Vyse. They do seem to have a handful of tough members, but I'm sure more people would be needed. As for the council, yours truly is on the list~! I know I'm not going to be the one to make big decisions, but I sure hope my information database'll be helpful, if I'm appointed! If there's a vote, don't forget to vote for me~! ♥
-> Diavolo is a big story this month. The man has become a threat to everyone here in Luceti, so sitting around and covering your eyes and ears about it isn't going to help. He wants to destroy this place, and probably the rest of the world, in an effort to run from his past completely. Trish is also still in danger, since she's one of the "links to his past". Just because the Arrow was used and Hokuto was sacraficed instead doesn't mean that Diavolo is going to ignore Trish now. My personal suggestion is that she remain heavily guarded, or at least that she get moved somewhere, as the clinic is a little too obvious. I'm going to keep combing the network -- it's very important that anyone with information work with me here. I'm not asking to be anyone's best friend for eternity -- just for now, at the very least. We have to stop this guy, and we have to stop him now.
-> There have been more murders on the rise. I haven't pinpointed who exactly just yet, but the recent ones, besides Hokuto's of course, haven't been done by Diavolo. We need to be careful. Don't go training, flowerpicking, square-dancing, or whatever alone. I don't want everyone to live in fear, but I don't want anyone else to end up dead either.
-> Azzip, our one and only pizza parlor, has fallen. It's a tragic, tragic loss, but we'll be alright, I hope. Be strong everyone ... be strong.
-> Even though Diavolo's a priority right now, since he's someone we can actually DO something about, I'm still doing research on the barrier. Nothing too interesting yet. I'm still working on it, though.

Facts Of The Month: August

-> We are totally overcrowded here, folks. Although, I could swear another community building popped up out of nowhere. Maybe I'm going crazy.
-> Kidnappings of people who have never been taken before have been on the rise too.
-> A lot of people have been flat out disappearing lately too. It's kinda disturbing.
-> We'll be having our second wedding this month! I wish you two all the happiness you can get. You know who you are~!

Public Notices

It's pretty obvious, but as I said, there are two killers loose. One is unknown and has committed two murders that I know of, and the second is Diavolo. I'm asking that everyone be careful when they decide to take a long walk through the woods.

DON'T BE STUPID AND GO AFTER DIAVOLO ALONE, SUBARU SUMERAGI.

While we're on that, DON'T ANYONE BE STUPID AND GO AFTER DIAVOLO ALONE. Just contact Vyse and ask to join the Blue Rogues or something!

Interview Requests

Maybe later. I'm still compiling information right now.

Sports

Considering the circumstances and how oh-so-excited you guys are about this kind of thing, I might as well just take this section off of the newspaper and put something else up. Suggestions, guys?

Whew, finally. Sorry that I got it out a few days late, everyone! If anyone needs any direct information, just lemme know. Hiyono Yuizaki is your number one source for anything. Info-wise, anyway.

I'm so tired and hungry! Why didn't that guy have any food in his house anyway?! Hey, Kamui! You tell Subaru to eat something once in a while! I was just in his house and he's barely got enough to feed a sparrow! Christ, that boy needs a cake or something. Geez. I bet his sister's gonna slap him silly when she sees him. [sighs]

Hey, Vyse, hope what I got out was at least somewhat helpful. Don't think that's the extent though -- I'm getting more soon, trust me!

[[OOC: FINALLY. Sorry for the massive delay on getting this thing out, lord x_x]]
