A friend asked me to explain the word in my LJ icon.
I derived the word from an auspicious typo in a wonderful comment posted about my crackfic WIP, "The Hunting of the Snark." When I read the comment, my brain immediately processed the word as a hybrid of "narcissistic" and "sarcastic" and I squee'd for joy.
Then I realized that I was just a bonehead who had read way too much into a simple misspelling, but it was already too late. I was smitten.
